Now is your opportunity to join the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (MPP) - a dynamic and vibrant team, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for Pacific communities in Aotearoa. 

The Ministry currently has two vacancies in its Communications and Marketing Team: 

Manager - Digital Channels and Marketing (flexible location, permanent)

The successful applicant will deliver on the Ministry’s purpose, vision and strategy by co-designing and co-developing digital experiences that meet Pacific people’s needs, leveraging insights to drive the right outcomes.

This person will lead a Digital Team which connects people and communities through digital channels, including raising the awareness of policies and programmes that influence attitudes and behaviours; supports the operation of service; and delivers work programmes. 

Innovative, passionate, and inspirational, the Digital Channels and Marketing Manager will ensure MPP develops and delivers marketing and digital strategies which enrich our Pacific communities in Aotearoa.

Manager - Strategic Communications and External Relations (flexible location, permanent)

Manager, Strategic Communications and External Relations position develops and leads the implementation of strategic communications activity to ensure messages are meaningful to the Ministry’s community groups and key stakeholders and to manage external relationships with media, stakeholders, and partners. 

The successful applicant will take accountability for promoting strategic vision across all our external communication channels; they will be enriching Aotearoa with thriving Pacific communities; and they will lead a high performing team and develop communication strategies to promote policies and programmes to our Pacific peoples.
