Kapasa eLearning module

Kapasa is a Pacific policy analysis tool designed to support policymakers to develop policies and services that meet the needs of Pacific peoples.

The Kapasa tool works by applying three overlays to the generic policy process:

• Overlay 1: Pacific peoples’ information and evidence
• Overlay 2: Pacific peoples’ values, strengths, and diversity
• Overlay 3: Pacific peoples’ engagement.

The three overlays provide prompts to check if policy outcomes and impacts have included the perspectives, values, and strengths of Pacific peoples.

After this module, you will:

• Gain confidence in developing policy for Pacific peoples
• Learn to apply the Kapasa overlay to the generic policy development process
• Understand the journey of Pacific peoples and useful sources of information.
