Senior Advisor, Information and Records Management

The Ministry for Pacific Peoples is the principal advisor on policies and interventions that improve outcomes for Pacific Peoples. We have an exciting and challenging opportunity in our national office for an experienced Information and Records Management professional.  The position of Senior Advisor, Information and Records Management exists to manage and deliver information and records management services to the Ministry; ensuring we meet our obligations and our information is safe.

About you
You will be an experienced, results driven professional, looking for your next move to a values-based organisation. You will enjoy working collaboratively and committed to providing a quality service experience. You will have a proven track record in the Information and Records Management field and be able to engage with a variety of people with different needs.  Ideally, but not necessarily, you will have the ability to speak a Pacific language and have some knowledge of, and empathy for, the organisation's journey and values.

You will have the following experience and qualifications:

• You will be an experienced information and records management professional
• Proven experience in the implementation of Information and Records Management initiatives
• Proven working knowledge of best practise and legislative requirements in your area of expertise
• Enjoy supporting others to work more effectively with information management systems
• Ability to work autonomously to support an organisation’s Information and Records Management needs
