The Pacific Community Housing Provider (CHP) Registration Support Service is part of the Ministry’s Pacific Housing Initiative.
The Ministry for Pacific Peoples is seeking registrations of interest from existing Pacific organisations who have the aim of becoming a Social Housing Landlord and providing community housing services to their community. Organisations who are selected through the ROI will receive support through the Pacific CHP Registration Support service to achieve these aims.

Organisations who are selected through this registration of interest will receive support through the Pacific CHP Registration Support Service to achieve these aims.
The Ministry for Pacific Peoples has engaged the services of a specialist housing consultancy to assist Pacific organisations to develop, document and achieve their housing aspirations and achieve successful registration as Community Housing Providers.
These consultants will work with the selected Pacific organisations to support them through skills development and knowledge and understanding of organisational policies, procedures, documentation and legal requirements to achieve and maintain registration as CHPs.
To be eligible, you need to:
Preference will be given to organisations that are currently involved in the provision of housing services or are assessed as potentially having the ability to achieve CHP registration within 12 months.
The service will support approximately six organisations in total.
