Diversity and relationships in focus at Police Fono

Strengthening relationships was in the spotlight at the annual New Zealand Police Fono, at Porirua’s Pahina O Tokelau (Tokelau Congregational Christian Church). Sworn and non-sworn members of the New Zealand Police attended the August 14 event, along with members of the Tokelauan community from Porirua. Read more

Youth Parliament opportunity to be heard

Every three years, about 140 young New Zealanders experience Parliament as Youth MPs and Youth Press Gallery members. By being part of the Ministry of Youth Development’s Youth Parliament programme, young people from around Aotearoa New Zealand have the opportunity to be heard, and for Youth MPs to actively work on topics and issues they are passionate about.
