How the COVID-19 vaccine works
The COVID-19 vaccine teaches your own immune system to recognize and fight off the virus. The vaccine cannot give you the disease. It does not contain the virus or anything that can affect your DNA. The vaccine has gone completely from your body within days leaving your immune system stronger and ready for action if COVID-19 comes near you.
