This week the National Office of the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (MPP) hosted an afternoon tea to honour Deputy Secretary General Cristelle Pratt of the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat (PIFS).

Members of the Pacific Senior Officials Group across Wellington were also present.

Chief Executive of MPP Laulu Mac Leauanae says it was a great time to engage with the wider family in the public sector working hard at doing what we can to help our Pacific families, not only in Aotearoa but in the Pacific Region.

“Having one Pacific voice across our work in the public sector is critical to the people we serve,” he adds.

Deputy Secretary General Cristelle Pratt has extensive experience across the public and private sectors working for national government and various regional roles.

The Ministry looks forward to working with her and colleagues supporting Pacific initiatives.
