Joseph Fa’afiu wows audience
The most important lesson for Pacific public speakers is to be mindful of their messages.
That was the focus for Pastor Joseph Fa’afiu when he delivered his award winning speech at the Ministry’s Pō Fiefia event, held recently at the Lesieli Hall Auditorium in South Auckland.
Although the event was all about acknowledging Pacific Honourees and their families, it was also about showcasing Pacific talents.
Mr Fa'afiu says Pacific people are natural orators and storytellers and competitions as such, have helped to refine their talents.
Mr Fa'afiu wowed the audience with his speech ‘Making the most of life because life is short’.
The Ministry is incredibly grateful to Joseph for delivering his speech in a Pacific Island setting, and it reminded the Pacific community why he was crowned the winner of the New Zealand Toastmasters Public Speaking Contest.
Joseph was accompanied by his wife Lydia at the event.
