It's that time of year again to change your clock. Don’t forget to turn your clocks forward this weekend.

Daylight Saving Time 2017 begins this weekend when clocks go forward by 1 hour at 2am on Sunday morning, 24 September 2017.

The beginning of Daylight Saving Time this weekend also brings an important reminder to families that when changing their clocks forward, they should also change the batteries in smoke detectors.

The clocks go forward 1 hour this Sunday morning, so this is also the weekend to test the batteries in your smoke alarms.

Daylight saving starts each year on the last Sunday in September, and ends on the first Sunday in April.
