Zero fees for Pacific youth in trades

Spaces for 2018 are now available in trades for Pacific youth aged 16-19, to study free at the Oceania Career Academy (OCA) in South Auckland. The course runs for a year and is free to eligible student to study the National Certificate in Building Construction and Allied Trades & NZ Certificate in Manufacturing. Read more

An outstanding postgraduate student

The Ministry congratulates Leali'ie'e Tufulasi Taleni as the first Pacific researcher from the University of Canterbury to win an education award based on his Master’s thesis. Leali'ie'e’s thesis looks at lifting Pasifika achievement in New Zealand, and it received the highest of accolades, graded an A+ from both examiners. Read more
